Woodland Girl Scout wins Gold Award for film work

Woodland — Taylor Hennings of Woodland earned a Girl Scout Gold Award for her work in mental health. She researched five different mental health diagnoses and created a film looking at each one. She wrote the scripts to reflect on the five diagnoses and how these conditions affect people’s daily lives. The film was then presented at a school assembly, along with an educational and local resource pamphlet for students seeking help with mental illness.
