Letter: Gillespie is indefatigable candidate

By Kenneth Campbell, Vancouver
Published: October 15, 2018, 6:00am

When Kathy Gillespie requested my support in 2016, I wanted to know how dedicated she was to the task of running in a legislative district where the incumbent won overwhelmingly in prior elections. I asked whether she was willing to lose in 2016, come back in 2018, and get the job done. She proved that she has the right stuff by beating expectations in 2016, then coming back this time to work even harder — raising more money, knocking on thousands of doors and winning the primary. For a hard-working legislator who knows the issues, listens and learns, vote for Kathy Gillespie.
