BATTLE GROUND — The Battle Ground Police Department will host a drug take-back from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 27.

If you have expired or unneeded medications, they can be disposed of in that time frame at the department, 507 S.W. First St., Battle Ground. Unwanted medications — prescription or over-the-counter, in pill, liquid or inhaler form — will be accepted, and medications may stay in original containers, with labels attached, according to a city of Battle Ground press release.

Medications not in the original container are accepted as well. Lids should be tight on liquid medications, and you should refrain from including unrelated recycling or garbage with disposed medications.

For more information, visit the drug take-back flyer at www.cityofbg.org/Drug-Take-Back-Day.
