Camas police say a juvenile driver was at fault for hitting a bicyclist Wednesday morning.
Police and Camas-Washougal Fire responders were dispatched about 8:30 a.m. to Northeast 15th Avenue and Division Street for a report of an injury traffic crash.
The caller reported that a vehicle struck a child on a bike, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. The first responder to arrive at the scene reported that “one person (was) down in the road,” according to the scanner.
Both the driver and cyclist are younger than 18, according to Camas Police Department Sgt. Scot Boyles.
