Brandon Wolter, a redshirt freshman from Union, recorded his fifth shutout of the season as Western Washington beat Saint Martin’s 2-0 on Thursday. That included a diving stop in the 42nd minute.

“That save by Brandon was key and probably the key to the match keeping momentum on our side to take a lead into the half,” said Vikings coach Greg Brisbon.

Ben Stevenson, a senior from Prairie, made six saves for The Evergreen State College in a 1-1 draw against Providence (Montana) on Friday. He had three saves in a 3-1 win over Carroll College on Saturday. Kiani Pandoliano, a freshman from Union, scored a golden goal in Southern Oregon’s 2-1 overtime win over Oregon Tech on Saturday. Her sixth goal of the season helped the Raiders (9-2-3, 7-1-2) pull into a second-place tie in the NAIA Cascade Collegiate Conference with two matches remaining.
