I’m voting for Marie Gluesenkamp Perez for Skamania PUD commissioner. Commissioners must have the backs of the linemen who serve us, and the backs of the ratepayers.
She worked her way through college and has a degree in economics. As a auto repair business owner, she’s accountable to her customers and state laws and knows that the PUD needs to be accountable to citizens. She’s executive director of the Stevenson Downtown Association and has burned a lot of shoe leather going door to door introducing herself. We need someone with her macro grasp of systems, micro grasp of details and the people skills to represent us.
