Affordable housing nonprofit Second Step Housing is moving from Uptown Village to central Vancouver.

The nonprofit is moving out of a space owned by Vancouver Housing Authority at 2500 Main St., and into offices at Aurora Place, one of its properties, which is at 8105 N.E. Fourth Plain Road. Its new mailing address is Second Step Housing, P.O. Box 61894, Vancouver, WA, 98666.

Steve Towell, spokesman for Vancouver Housing Authority, said the agency does not have anyone identified for the ground-floor space, which is going to be listed with its property broker. The space could rent to either nonprofit or for-profit tenants.
