Community Home Health & Hospice is searching for volunteers to assist with programs in Salmon Creek.

It is offering free, five-hour training classes from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and Dec. 3 at the Elaine & Don Heimbigner Care Center, 3102 N.E. 134th St., Vancouver. After completing the class, volunteers can help with bereavement programs (children through adults) or volunteer in other capacities in the agency. Registration is required; call 360-747-1043 or email volunteer@chhh.org.

Community Home Health & Hospice is opening the Seasons of Hope Grief Center in Salmon Creek later this year. It will offer free, cutting-edge bereavement services to grieving families. There will be support groups for children, teens, tweens, adults and special groups for those who have been touched by suicide.
