Letter: Long is best choice for Congress

By Andrew Bomber, Vancouver
Published: October 31, 2018, 6:00am

Life is not Monopoly where the people with the most money and the most power win, contrary to what President Trump, the Republican Congress and Justice Brett Kavanaugh believe. Humanity matters. How we treat each other, how we treat women, minorities and the less fortunate matters. Honesty matters. The Earth we leave our children and children’s children matters.

Enough is enough; this must stop. The beginning of the end is the election, with voting out Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler and voting in Carolyn Long.

Long will be an excellent representative for the 3rd District. She’ll represent our district honestly and with humanity.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
