Workforce Southwest Washington is seeking nominations for its Excellence in Workforce Development Awards.

The awards fall into two categories — Innovation in Workforce Development, for businesses that demonstrate commitment to helping youth develop professional skills to find jobs, and Excellence in Building Workforce Partnerships, aimed at businesses that demonstrate investment in the community through partnerships with nonprofits and local organizations.

Workforce Southwest Washington represents businesses in Clark, Cowlitz and Wahkiakum counties. Clark County business nominations must be submitted by Oct. 5, while Cowlitz and Wahkiakum county nominations are due Jan. 11.

The Clark County awards will be presented during the WSW board meeting in December. Cowlitz and Wahkiakum business awards will be presented at the March 2019 meeting.

To review and download the awards guidelines and nomination form, go to www.workforcesw.org and click on the link in the “news” section in the bottom right corner of the home page.
