A Vancouver woman was involved in a fatal vehicle versus motorcycle crash Sunday in Marion County, Ore.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Northeast 81st Avenue and Silverton Road about 12:30 p.m. for reports of a crash, according to a news release from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. The intersection is west of Silverton, Ore.

Deputies determined that an SUV driven by Janette Perez-Guzman, 32, of Vancouver was northbound on 81st Avenue, trying to cross Silverton Road, when it collided with the motorcycle, which was westbound on Silverton Road.

The motorcyclist, Donald Krueger, 75, of Silverton, was killed instantly. Perez-Guzman was uninjured and cooperated with investigators, deputies said.

The road was closed for several hours.

Investigators are seeking any witnesses to the collision, asking them to call 503-588-5032.
