Vancouver Vineyard Church meets in park for services in August

Central Park — Vancouver Vineyard Church took some time this summer to break from its normal setup to host Prayer in the Park events in August. The congregation met at Quarnberg Park behind the church for four straight Sundays. In the church’s latest newsletter, pastor Marshal Prewitt wrote that one concern church officials had “about breaking from our usual Sunday routine was that the finances of the church would suffer.” He later wrote that the church finished August financially strong.
