Letter: Herrera Beutler represents us well

The extremists from the political left constantly repeat that Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, doesn’t have enough town halls. I’m content to sit on my couch instead of driving somewhere and sitting on a plastic chair — we can hear what she says and evaluate rational discussions of issues without outbursts from screaming punks who have no interest in anything positive.

Herrera Beutler should be more pro-active about some issues, like the necessity of a third bridge, but she generally represents the majority of us well.

The last thing we need is another Nancy Pelosi puppet in Congress.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
