Radosevich takes fifth at Nike Portland XC

Camas boys place second in Danner Championship

Ridgefield’s Kyle Radosevich placed fifth overall in the Danner Championship race at the Nike Portland XC meet, posting the fastest time of any Clark County runners at the cross country invitational Saturday at Portland Meadows.

Radosevich covered the 5,000-meter course in 15 minutes, 29.60 seconds.

Daniel Maton (13th, 15:45.40) and Jackson Lyne (17th, 15:58.90) led Camas to a second-place finish in the team standings. Tahoma of Maple Valley was first with 116 points, followed by Camas at 126.

Washougal’s Gabriel Dinnel was 18th in the Danner race in 15:46.70.

Washougal’s Amelia Pullen was 13th in the Danner Championship girls race, finishing in 18:25.00. Lucy Ianello of Columbia River was 19th in 18:39.20.

Aspen Ashcroft was 16th (18:32.60) to lead Camas to a fifth-place finish in the girls standings.

August Albers of Cedar Tree Classical was the top local in the Division 1 boys race, finishing 20th in 16:38.80. Luke Lund of Prairie was the top local finisher in the Division 2 boys race, placing 11th in 16:33.80.

Leading the way in the Division 3 boys race was Ian Abrams of Ridgefield (ninth, 17:21.20).

Haylee Brodahl of Union was the top local in the Division 1 girls race (16th in 19:33.20). Prairie’s Andrea Cernuda-Herraiz (19th, 20:15.60). led the way for locals in the Division 2 girls race, and Jane Kuberich of Ridgefield led the Division 3 girls race (21st, 20:54.60).
