Letter: Support Hockinson school levy

Washington state has made changes that have made property taxes more volatile. The impact is being felt throughout the state. In Hockinson, despite a positive economy and a growing community, two district levies failed to pass. Sadly, this is true even though overall property taxes are projected to go down.

In order for the school district to remain great, these new and reduced levies must pass. The Hockinson School District and its voters need to reconnect. The community needs to re-engage so that we may retain the Hockinson School District excellence.

Our children and their teachers need your Yes vote.
