Olivia Grey achieved perfection on Thursday.
The Portland State-bound pitcher faced 21 R.A. Long batters, setting down all 21 in order — 14 on strikeouts –in a perfect game 3-0 win.
Gwen Elkinton provided the offensive boost for the Beavers, going 3 for 3 with a double, triple and 2 RBI. Payten Foster was 1 for 3 with a double, and Maddy Bunger was 1-2 for with an RBI.
Grey retired six of the last eight batters she faced by strikeout.
In the seventh inning, Grey struck out the first two batters before the final out was a pop to second base.

• Kekai Schultz, Ridgefield softball, goes 2 for 4 with two runs, two doubles and RBI in an 8-0 win over Mark Morris.
• Naomi Phelps, Columbia River girls golf, was the medalist with 47 at Tri-Mountain in a win over Hockinson.
• Callie Mills, Union girls golf, was the medalist with a 47 at Camas Meadows in a win over Battle Ground.
