Letter: Herrera Beutler does a good job

I find it amusing that the attacks on Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, have taken on a life of their own in The Columbian’s letters-to-the-editor section. The 2020 election season has indeed jumped out of the starting blocks — and the Carolyn Long fan club must have been asked to send in their negative comments. Well, they have, indeed. I also find it amusing that Herrera Beutler was held in great esteem (by over 60 percent of us) prior to the election of Donald Trump. I will be voting for Jaime next year. She does a good job.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
