Barlow’s Public House officially opened today at The Waterfront Vancouver after a preview day Monday. The restaurant announced the news on its Facebook page this afternoon. The debut is a slight bump up from the previous announced opening date of Labor Day weekend.

Barlow’s is on the second floor of the Don Building at 801 Waterfront Way, above Twigs Bistro & Martini Bar. The brewpub is open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will include a self-serve beer, wine and cider wall where customers can pay by the ounce. The business also offers traditional pub food.

The restaurant is accessed via an entrance on the north side of the building between Twigs Bistro and Maryhill Winery. There’s also an exterior staircase on the east side of the building that leads to Barlow’s outdoor deck.

Barlow’s was announced as the tenant for the upstairs location in 2018 after the previous planned tenant, Ghost Runners Brewery, had to abandon its plans for a Waterfront expansion.
