Outdoor Art Walk with Changing Rock and Ice Sculptures, through Dec. 14. Erin Dengerink has created a series of temporary rock and ice sculptures on the trails at Columbia Springs which will slowly transform as time passes. Columbia Springs, 12208 S.E. Evergreen Highway, is a 100-acre natural area providing educational programming. Viewing hours are 5 to 8 p.m. daily. www.columbiasprings.org
“Material Matters,” through Dec. 21. This exhibit features artists from the local chapter of the Surface Design Association (SDA), including Mary Arnold, Bonnie Bucknam, Donna Joslyn, Sally Sellers, Sharon Svec and Marie Wolfe. “Different Views of Several Landscapes,” through Dec. 23, features artwork by Jeffrey Opp and Paul Solevad. Opp’s photos demonstrate how life extends beyond its own subjective limits.
