The Arthur D. Curtis Children’s Justice Center is seeking volunteers after joining a national effort to destigmatize child sex abuse survival.

The children’s justice center is joining the National Children’s Alliance’s Shine campaign, according to a news release. The campaign aims to end the stigma surrounding abuse and help survivors.

Volunteers, serving an ambassador role, could include adult survivors, friends and family of survivors, advocates and those who work to prevent abuse, according to the children’s justice center. The organization’s goal is to have one ambassador per week in 2020 to share messages of hope. Messages would be posted on the center’s website and social media pages.
