Boys basketball: Battle Ground 72, Hudson’s Bay 31

Guards Brendan Beall and Nate Millspaugh combined for five first-half 3-pointers as the Tigers scored 48 first-half points to cruise to a nonleague win.

“They were shooting the lights out,” Bay coach Theo Mikaele said.

Beall had 19 points and Millspaugh added 17.

Battle Ground now is 5-0.

Kaden Perry added a game-high 24 points.

Tony King led the Eagles with 13 points.
