Clark Athletics Report: 2020 Hall of Fame class named

The Clark Athletic Department announced its Hall of Fame class for 2020 that will be honored on Feb. 8.

Those interested in attending the Hall of Fame banquet at 7 p.m. Feb. 8 need to RSVP by Jan. 31. Cost is $25 and can be purchased through clarkcollegefoundation.org/hall-of-fame-2020/

The Class of 2020 will also be honored at the men’s and women’s basketball games on Feb. 8. The women’s game is at 2 p.m. followed by the men at 4 p.m.

The class includes:

Dan Johnson, men’s basketball 1966-68

— Michele (Westmorland) Brown, women’s softball 2012

— Marc Hadenfeld, men’s track and field, 1969-70

— 1968 state champion men’s golf team (Graham Brunes, Jon Heil, Ken Henry, Greg Watt, and coach George Ingles)

— NWAACC 1995 champion men’s basketball team (Mark Nikkila, Andre Galston, Trey Williamson, Jimmy Smith, Jeremy DeVries, Randy Myers, Matt Philbrook, Ryan Goode, Troy Morningstar, Heath Biddix, Donnie Keltz, Maurice Eaton, and coach Dave Waldow)

Men’s basketball

Record: 5-3 overall

• Clark vs. Big Bend, 7 p.m. Thursday at Moses Lake (crossover tournament)

• Pacific Univ. JV at Clark, 2 p.m. Monday (final non-conference game)

The Penguins last game was an 82-68 loss at Lower Columbia on Dec. 7.
