EUGENE, Ore. — A bar arcade in Kennewick has changed its name after settling a copyright lawsuit with Level Up Arcade in downtown Eugene, Ore.
The Eugene bar arcade sued the Kennewick business in August for using its trademarked named. After settling in October, the Level Up Bar Arcade in Kennewick changed its name to Power Up Arcade Bar.
Level Up Arcade, which has been operating under that name in Eugene since 2012, filed for a trademark in January 2017. The bar arcade received retroactive ownership of the name three months after the Washington business opened.
