Girls basketball: Woodland 69, Kalama 22

WOODLAND 69, KALAMA 22 — Lucy George scored 14 points, 10 rebounds and six steals as the Beavers ran past rival Kalama in a non-league home game. Twelve of George’s points came in the first half, along with eight of her rebounds and all six of her steals.

Emily Hughes added 12 points off the bench and Abigail Huston finished with four steals and a pair of 3-pointers. Kelly Sweyer chipped in 12 points for the Beavers, who improve to 4-1.
