Letter: Columnist provides hope

By Suzanne Taylor, Vancouver
Published: December 23, 2019, 6:00am

Columnist Debra Saunders unintentionally gave us an early Christmas present with her Dec. 12 editorial, “Trump Just Can’t Help Himself.” Although she usually sticks to the Trump version of reality, for some reason in that column she wrote truth to power. How refreshing: Someone from the Trump World telling it like it is!

If Debra can see the truth, maybe others will wake up to reality, too. Maybe there is hope of a future with respect for the truth, the rule of law, and even, dare I say, science.

Thank you, Debra, for giving us hope.
