Girls basketball: Hockinson 39, Shorewood 25

Lillie Mueller posted six blocks — a new school record, coach Damon Roche said — as part of the Hawks’ defensive effort in its win to earn sixth place at the Surf ‘N Slam tournament.

Gracie Brammer led Hockinson in scoring with 12 points and Ellie Ritter added 10.
