An 18-year-old Vancouver man was killed early Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Camas.

Camas police officers and firefighters were dispatched about 12:13 a.m. to the 900 block of Northeast Third Avenue for a report of a serious traffic crash.

The Camas Police Department said in a news release that the responders found a Pontiac G6 on its roof with two people inside.

A passenger, Manson Juea, was pronounced dead at the scene; the driver and Juea’s cousin, Michael Tatiachy, 29, of Vancouver, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, the police department said.

“Speed was clearly a factor in the (crash). However, all other proximate causes are also being investigated,” the news release states.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office traffic unit is assisting with the investigation.

A portion of Northeast Third Avenue was closed for several hours.
