“We are going to build a wall and Mexico will pay for it!” Well, that certainly has not happened. On the other hand, Democrats should not be saying “No money for a wall.” Rather, Congress should appropriate billions of dollars for border security, provided career employees (not political appointees) in U.S. government agencies responsible for border security decide how best to use the money.
