Girls basketball: Columbia River 68, Rochester 46

Erin Baker had a game-high 22 points and Sydney Flores-Tucker added 15 as the Chieftains stay alive in the 2A district tournament with a consolation victory.

Baker and Flores-Tucker combined for 10 of the team’s 12 3-pointers, including seven in the first half.

River put the game away with a 23-7 fourth-quarter spurt.

The Chieftains faces Black Hills at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Mark Morris in another loser-out contest.
