Girls basketball: Tumwater 62, Woodland 51

The Beavers season came to an end with the loss to Tumwater at the 2A district tournament game at Mark Morris High School.

Woodland (14-9) was within five points late in the fourth quarter and had to foul.

Tumwater’s Aubrey Amendala went 8 for 10 from the free-throw line to close out the game. She finished with 18 points.

Audrey Adams finished her Woodland career with a double-double of 13 points and 19 rebounds plus six steals. Payten Foster added 12 points and 17 rebounds, and Kelly Sweyer had 12 points on four 3-pointers to help keep the Beavers in the game.
