Vancouver Public Schools submitted a pre-application to the city of Vancouver for construction of its downtown elementary school.
The new campus, funded by the district’s $458 million bond measure approved in 2017, will be at 1007 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
The 61,000-square-foot “school of choice” will share a site with the Fort Vancouver Regional Library administrative headquarters, and future phases of the construction are expected to connect the two buildings.
