Letter: Trump looks out for himself

By Stephen Schrag, Vancouver

Dennis Bourdeau’s Feb. 8 letter stating Trump wants what we all want is a travesty. Trump is not what we all want. He states he wants a clean, safe place to raise a family. I am very concerned that my children and grandchildren will not have the clean place — Trump has gutted clean air, clean water, and has pushed for more coal and oil so he can satisfy his billionaire donors. He states he has a hard time understanding why we let career politicians control our country when all they do is get richer and crave more power. All one needs to do is to look at our president, who craves riches and powers.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
