Volunteer Connections/RSVP partners with area nonprofits, schools, and organizations to promote their volunteer opportunities. To see all the available opportunities visit hsc-wa.org/volunteer-connections or call 360-735-3690 to learn more.

The Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Washington seeks program volunteers and bookworm buddies. Program volunteers supervise art, games, gym, tech, and education activities along with a staff member; bookworm buddies help students in grades one through five hone their reading skills. Volunteers are asked to commit to one 3 to 7 p.m. shift a week for three months.

Clark County Parks and Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership is hosting a Curtin Springs Wildlife Habitat Planting from 9 a.m. to noon March 9. To sign up, contact Samantha at 503-226-1565, ext. 245.

Columbia Little League is looking for volunteers to serve as baseball and softball umpires (training begins March 22), a concessions director and concession stand workers, field cleanup helpers, and board members. A field cleanup day is planned from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16, minimum age 15. Shift days and times are usually tailored around volunteer availability.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s Vancouver is hosting a volunteer committee kickoff party from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at WareHouse ’23. Learn how to get involved with the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Vancouver Planning Committee.
