Girls basketball: Union 54, Timberline 34

Playing one of their best defensive games of the season, the Titans shut down host Timberline and their top scorer in the process.

Union held Timberline to 21 points through three quarters in the non-league win. Kiara Brooks, who was averaging 20-plus points a game, was held to eight.

Toryi Midland led Union in scoring with 10 points and six blocked shots.
