The Evergreen Public Schools Board of Directors is accepting applications for Todd Yuzuriha’s seat in anticipation of his coming resignation.
Yuzuriha will step down from the board effective Feb. 13. District No. 4, which Yuzuriha represents, is in the southeastern portion of the east Vancouver school district.
Interested applicants must be registered voters in District No. 4, and must submit their applications by Jan. 31. The board will review applicants in early February with selection slated for the end of the month.
The appointment will last eight months, then interested candidates will have to run for the office in the November election.
