Officers responded to a home early Wednesday morning in the Vancouver Heights neighborhood and arrested a man for allegedly violating a no-contact domestic violence court order.
Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said in an email that someone reported a woman was taken from a bar by her ex-boyfriend, who has a no-contact order against him and pending kidnapping case outside of Clark County for alleged crimes against her.
Police located the man, identified as David W. Rose, at a home in the 200 block of Northeast Garrison Road. They executed a search warrant and located Rose and the woman inside. The woman was uninjured, Kapp said.
Video of the response posted to Twitter by a KATU-TV reporter shows officers outside of a residence, using a loudspeaker and asking Rose to come outside with his hands above his head. A second video shows officers entering the home through the front door.
