WOODLAND — Woodland Public Schools will rename two schools for the 2019-2020 school year due to district reconfiguration, and district officials are asking residents for help.

Woodland Primary School and Woodland Intermediate School will both become K-4 buildings at the start of the next school year, so the district plans on changing each school’s name.

Per district policy, schools can’t be named after any person. Submissions must be received by Tuesday.

Residents can submit their suggestions at the district’s website, www.woodlandschools.org, or bit.ly/NameYourSchools.
