Girls basketball: La Center 59, Seton Catholic 25

Taylor Stephens scored a career-high 38 points, hitting six of La Center’s 11 3-pointers in a Trico League win.

Stephens’ previous best of 37 came Jan. 4, also against Seton, when she hit seven 3-pointers.

Stephens also had eight rebounds, six assists and  five steals on Tuesday night.

Mia Edwards hit the other five 3-pointers for La Center, finishing with 15 points. Natasha Lewis 10 had rebounds.
