Ridgefield forced overtime with free throws down the stretch, but shooting in the 4-minute overtime was a different story.

“We couldn’t make any shots,” coach Tom Klutz said.

Hockinson, meanwhile, went 4 for 6 at the free-throw line to take the lead for good in overtime in a game that had playoff implications for both teams in a jam-packed 2A GSHL race.

Devi Dugan led all scorers with 19 points for Ridgefield and center Allie Andrew had a double-double of 16 points and 17 rebounds in addition to six blocks.

Three Hawks — Jasmine Shigano (12 points), Gracie Grammer (11) and Emma Dietel (10) — reached double figures for Hockinson.

Ridgefield isn’t eliminiated from playoff contention with one game left, but “we need lots of help,” Klutz said.
