CAMAS — The Friends & Family Foundation of the Camas Library will host a book sale at Camas Days to raise money to support library programs.

The sale runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 25 through July 27 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29 in the upstairs meeting rooms at the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave. It will cost $2 for hardcover books and $1 for paperbacks and children’s books, with special prices for certain other books. Monday will be a special bag sale, where guests can fill up a bag for $5.

This is the second book sale of the year, with the last coming in December. Shopping at the book sales helps support library programs, such as the summer reading program, book discussion groups, storytimes, sleepovers for kids and teens, and crafts activities. This year, the library is raising funds to remodel the storytime room and turn it into an early learning center.

Anyone interested in donating books to the sale can drop them off at the library during regular business hours. People should say they are donating them toward the book sale. For large donations, call the library at 360-834-4692 because it’s possible a volunteer might be able to pick them up.
