A Vancouver attorney has been elected as the 2020 president of the Washington State Bar Association. It’s the first time a Southwest Washington resident has served in the role.

Kyle Sciuchetti will become president-elect in September 2019, and in 2020, he will be the 89th president, according to a news release from West Coast law firm Miller Nash Graham & Dunn.

Sciuchetti is a partner at the law firm. He has more than 20 years of experience in drafting and negotiating construction contracts, litigating construction matters and providing general business advice, according to the news release. He previously served as senior in-house counsel for the Public Power Council and as assistant city attorney/prosecutor for the city of Spokane.
