Raptors Recap: Ridgefield 16, Highline 0

The Raptors banged out 12 hits to support a strong start by Peter Allegro and took advantage of four errors in a non-league home win.

KEY MOMENTS: Michael Hicks, Brody Barnum and Cameron Repetti strung together consecutive hits, keying a four-run first inning for the Raptors. Hicks kept the hit parade going with an RBI double in the fifth, opening Ridgefield’s lead to 9-0.

KEY PLAYERS: Allegro was masterful on the mound. He allowed six hits over six innings, striking out four and walking none. Noah Taylor homered, going 2 for 4 with three runs and three RBI.

NEXT GAME: Portland (12-18, 3-1) at Ridgefield (18-18, 3-4), 6:35 p.m. Friday. (Radio: FM 99.9)
