Deputies searching for missing mom, toddler last seen in Hillsboro

PORTLAND — Washington County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a missing woman and toddler.

Nicole Marie Murphy, 32, and her two-year-old son Caiden were last seen Tuesday at an urgent care facility on Northwest 185th Avenue and Cornell Road in Hillsboro, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies don’t suspect foul play in their disappearance but said family members are concerned about Murphy’s wellbeing and her ability to care for her son.

Murphy hasn’t used her cellphone since she was reported missing, deputies said, and she doesn’t have any known financial means to travel.

She had most recently been staying at an adult detoxification and residential treatment facility, according to the sheriff’s office.

Murphy is 4-foot-11 and 115 pounds. She has dirty blonde hair and green eyes.

Her son is 34 pounds. and has longer, curly blonde hair and green eyes.

Deputies ask anyone who has information about their location to call 503-629-0111.
