A fence burned in a Vancouver fire early Saturday morning.

The blaze soon after midnight Friday destroyed an 8-by-6-foot section of the wooden fence, located near a residence at 5102 Dubois Dr. in the Dubois Park neighborhood, said Eva Scherer, public information officer for the Vancouver Police Department. The homeowner was inside the residence at the time, she said.

Firefighters had the fire under control in less than 10 minutes, Scherer said. Nobody was injured. The Vancouver Fire Marshal was called to investigate the incident.
