Dr. Molly McAllister of Camas was hired as the chief medical officer at Banfield Pet Hospital. She has worked for the Vancouver-based general veterinary practice for seven years and led the science team in the use of medical records data to inform research ranging from anesthesia safety to antimicrobial resistance and obesity. McAllister graduated from Oregon State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and received a master’s degree in public health from University of Minnesota. She succeeds Banfield’s former CMO Dr. Daniel Aja, who will take on a new role focusing on advancing the veterinary profession in partnership with academia and industry organizations.

Greg Vaughn will retire on June 30 as the chief operating officer of corporate operations at Barrett Business Services Inc., known as BBSI, a Vancouver-based business management company.
