Bike found, but Vancouver man still missing

Leif Vigeland went missing while training for race Thursday

Vancouver police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 36-year-old man who disappeared while training for a triathlon.

Leif Vigeland was last seen leaving his east Vancouver home on Thursday on his black Trek road bike.

The bicycle was located Saturday at Wintler Park along the Columbia River, but Vigeland’s whereabouts are still unknown.

He is described at 6 feet, 4 inches tall, 240 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
