Sara Baldwin, a sophomore at La Center High School, recently spent a week in Olympia working as a page for the state Senate. She was sponsored by Sen. Lynda Wilson, R-Vancouver. Baldwin was one of 25 students who served as Senate pages for the seventh week of the 2019 legislative session. Students in the Senate Page Program transport documents between offices, deliver messages and mail, and spend time in the Senate chamber and attend page school to learn about parliamentary procedure and the legislative process. Baldwin is the daughter of David and Shelley Baldwin of Battle Ground.
