SEATTLE — An investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death in a vehicle on the eastbound State Route 520 Bridge.

KIRO reports that Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson says emergency dispatchers received a call at 5:10 a.m. Monday about a woman running around on westbound SR 520 trying to flag down a car. She told troopers a man was shot in a vehicle on the shoulder of eastbound SR 520. The victim was later found dead in the driver’s seat.

The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center to check for potential injuries. She was not hurt and was taken to WSP headquarters, where she is being questioned.

Troopers will only say she was the passenger in the car where the man was found.

Johnson said the scene being processed as a homicide but further investigation may prove otherwise.

The 52 0 bridge connects Seattle with its eastern suburbs.
