Krog adds two more state titles Saturday at 1A/2B/1B state meet

Stevenson start wins long jump and high jump, takes third in 100

Stevenson’s Lincoln Krog added two more state titles, giving him three in total at the Class 1A state meet in Cheney.

Krog, who won the triple jump title on Friday, added wins in the long jump (22-0.75) and high jump (6-6) on Saturday. He also placed third in the 100 meters (11.27 seconds).

Teammate Isaac Hoidal placed fourth in the long jump (21-2.5).

Seton Catholic placed fourth in the 4×400 girls relay.

Krog’s points helped Stevenson finish third in the 1A boys team standings with 45 points.

Seton Catholic’s Ethan Haight was sixth in the 800 (2:01.57) and King’s Way Christian’s Justin Frahm was eighth in the 200 (22.97). Seton’s David Carrion was eighth in the 3,200 (10:01.87). Columbia-White Salmon placed second in the 4×400 relay.

Firm Foundation’s Kaleb Moyer was fifth in the 1B boys 200 (23.75). Washington School for the Deaf was seventh in the 4×100 relay followed by Firm Foundation.

La Center’s Roselynn Martin was eighth in the 1A girls 800 (2:24.75) and teammate Natasha Lewis was eighth in the 3,200 (11:52.80). King’s Way Christian’s Sarah Turcic was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles (16.56), and Lacey Zook of King’s Way was seventh in the discus (112-10).
