1A Trico League Football: King’s Way Christian 42, Seton Catholic 7

Senior Quarterback Kemper Shrock led a dominating performance by King’s Way Christian in the regular-season finale.

Shrock threw for 335 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another. His key receiver was Bryson Metz, who ended with 211 yards and two touchdowns, including an 85-yard bomb in the third quarter.

Kobi Cason rushed for 69 yards, including a 54-yard touchdown, and had a 33-yard a touchdown catch.

For Seton (4-4, 0-4), quarterback Luke Pitzer rushed for 59 yards and threw a 17-yard touchdown to Lance Stuck.

King’s Way (5-4, 3-2) finishes as the Trico League’s No. 3 seed. The Knights will face Evergreen Conference champion Montesano in the state preliminary round.
